His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Presidential Affairs, arrived in Kuwait this afternoon to participate in the 45th session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The summit, hosted by the State of Kuwait, brings together leaders from across the Gulf region to discuss critical economic, political, and security matters.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour was warmly welcomed at the airport by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah, and other senior Kuwaiti officials. The reception also included First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, GCC Secretary-General Jassim Al-Budaiwi, and Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Mohammed Al-Abdullah.
Sheikh Mansour is accompanied by a distinguished delegation comprising Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as ministers overseeing key portfolios such as energy, climate change, justice, investment, and advanced technology. This high-level team underscores the UAE’s commitment to fostering Gulf unity and addressing shared regional challenges.
The GCC summit is set to focus on enhancing cooperation across member states in economic development, sustainability initiatives, and collective security strategies, reinforcing the region’s role on the global stage.
